Robert Wolterstorff has spent over 30 years as a successful writer/producer for films and television. He has worked for Universal studios, ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox on such hits as “Quantum Leap”, “Street Hawk”, and “The Incredible Hulk”. He was nominated twice for an Emmy as Supervising Producer on “Quantum Leap”. He has had two major motion pictures produced: ”The Little Rascals” & “Slappy and the Stinkers”.
In recent years, Mr. Wolterstorff has brought his writing and producing skills to Government projects including: Red Tight – a case study film on the Patriot Missile system at Ft. Bliss, TX; Liar’s Market – a C3IT-D; Cultural and Cognitive Combat Immersive Trainer; working with Lawrence Livermore National Lab’s TELL system; and character development for the SGT. In addition, Mr. Wolterstorff has spent a considerable amount of time at the Fort Irwin – National Training Center assisting the scenario and video production departments in enhancing their training scenarios and usage of video capture to enhance realism.
Having worked with numerous SMEs to draft the initial scenario for the IEDBD Trainer (Reality Trainer), Mr. Wolterstorff will continue in his role as Executive Producer/Writer during the fabrication phase, ensuring the project keeps the realism required and meets the training objectives desired. Mr. Wolterstorff will continue to work with current and new SMEs, as well as keep close coordination with Dr. Bob Best’s Observables and Signatures group.
